Although I offer free pawprinting art as an activity at events around Nashville, I want to encourage anyone/anywhere to try it at home. What a fun way to create a colorful new piece of art! Without further ado, here are my top tips:
1) If possible, involve two humans. One reassures and gently holds the pet, the other lightly brush paint onto the paw and presses the paper to it.
2) Use non-toxic materials, in case any is accidentally ingested. Click HERE for what I use!
3) Have treats on hand to keep your pet happy and distracted.
Have fun with it! Want to use one of the watercolor background designs I’ve created for paw print art? Email me at paintedpawstudios@gmail.com; I’ll send a free printable file!
